Presentations to accident and medical centres continue to increase. Yesterday 183 people presented to a GP and Hawke’s Bay Hospital had 11 people present overnight, two were admitted.

Hospital to introduce paid parking on 1 March 2017
Hawke’s Bay District Health Board (HBDHB) will introduce paid parking for staff and visitors to its Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial and Corporate Office site in Hastings from 1 March between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Water confirmed as source of gastro illness in Havelock North
Water testing has confirmed the Havelock North water supply is likely to be the source of the gastro outbreak, but the type of bug is not yet knownHastings District Council chlorinated the water Friday (12th August) afternoon.
