Springhill Treatment Centre

If you are suffering with drug or alcohol abuse, then you are not alone. Men and women from all walks of life, ages and ethnic groups have similar problems. The good news is that help is at hand.

Springhill is a residential addiction treatment centre that provides fifteen beds for the rehabilitation of New Zealanders who are recovering from severe to moderate addictions and associated mental health disorders. The centre is part of the continuum of care provided by the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board to meet community needs. Funded areas include Hawke's Bay DHB, Bay of Plenty DHB and Taranaki DHB. However, private paying clients from outside of these areas are welcome to enquire.

Springhill offers an eight week treatment programme with a multi-disciplinary team providing intensive group work, family/whānau meetings and individual support to assist people’s journey through recovery.

You will not be isolated at Springhill.

As a resident you will be actively encouraged to participate in the group process which guides you towards continual progress and lifelong recovery.

You will be in a safe and structured environment living with others on a day to day basis, accepting responsibilities and practising a healthy lifestyle. You will also attend local Alcoholic or Narcotic Anonymous groups off-site to enhance your recovery experience.
