Being healthy and being able to learn are closely linked. If your school is not getting the achievement you are looking for as a result of issues with student attendance, retention or engagement, then health and wellbeing issues may be an underlying cause.
The Health Promoting Schools service works with school leaders (for example: principals, management, boards of trustees) to identify health and wellbeing issues and create and implement an action plan to address these priorities. We can help to connect your school to the supports that will enhance hauora for your children.
