The Speech and Language Therapy Department assess, diagnose, treat, report and provide advice for adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
Our aim is to maximise communication potential and promote management of swallowing difficulties.

There is a small fee for parking at the hospital between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Hawke’s Bay Hospital is at capacity, and unless it’s an emergency, people are asked to seek medical care from their family doctor, medical centre, pharmacy or to call Healthline.
