Healthy Active Learning is a joint government initiative between Sport New Zealand and the Ministries of Health and Education to improve the wellbeing of tamariki through healthy eating and drinking and quality physical activity.
It is driven by a $47m Government commitment to the Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy.
Locally, Te Whatu Ora, Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay, the Ministry of Education and Sport Hawke's Bay are co-operating to support schools to enhance wellbeing. One aspect of that is this collection of resources for schools - to support learning about wellbeing.
